Greenely is a home-energy orchestration platform that turns fragmented devices—smart meters, heat pumps, EV chargers, rooftop solar, and batteries—into one coordinated system. For consumers, the problem is volatility: electricity prices swing hourly, and most homes lack the tools to respond. For the grid, the problem is flexibility: decarbonization adds intermittent supply while electrification lifts demand. Greenely solves both by connecting a household’s devices in a single app, forecasting prices and usage, and automatically shifting consumption to cheaper, cleaner hours. The result is lower bills and smaller CO₂ footprints for households, and dispatchable demand response for the energy system.
Under the hood, Greenely combines device integrations with predictive models for load, weather, and price, then optimizes schedules across assets to participate in dynamic tariffs and flexibility markets (e.g., load shifting, peak shaving, and reserve capacity). Our business model blends subscription software with shared savings and market revenues, creating aligned incentives with users and partners. We focus on homeowner segments with the highest flexibility potential—EV owners, heat-pump homes, and solar-plus-storage—starting in Sweden and currently expanding in the Nordics. Greenely’s approach builds on research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in energy informatics, demand-side management, and behavioral nudging, translating academic insights into intuitive consumer experiences and grid-scale impact.
